Wednesday, July 10, 2019 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

An open house for Stony Plain Central School Servicing Project will be held on Wednesday, July 10 from 4-7pm at the Stony Plain Community Centre (5008-51 ave).

The project will involve extending the road from the west end of 57 avenue, and installing new underground infrastructure and a round-a-bout. The anticipated start date is July 15 with a targeted completion date of October 18, 2019. These dates are weather dependant.

There will be increased traffic along 57^th avenue. Construction signs will be put in place cautioning motorists and pedestrians as safety is the Town’s top priority.

Representatives from Sameng Consulting and the Town of Stony Plain will be available at the Open House to answer any questions or concerns from residents on the construction project.

Presented in partnership with Simply Liv Yoga, this yoga class is for the whole family to enjoy. Try something new, get active and spend some family time together on a Saturday morning. Bring your own mat/towel (if preferred) and water bottle; mats will be available for program use.

Pavilion at Heritage Park

Get in from the cold with your pre-schoolers! The Pavilion will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10am-11:30am during the months of January, February, and March for parents walking with strollers or parents/guardians looking to keep their children active this winter. Walk along side your child while they get to use their summer ride-on toys.

Helmets are required for anyone on any ride-on toy.

Indoor footwear required.

Maximum 3 children/ guardian.

Children must be supervised at all times and sign-in/waiver is required.

The Town of Stony Plain will not provide any equipment for this program.

This is a drop-in, free event for children under the age of 5.
