Family Fest – Stony Plain
Monday, December 17th, 2018Family Fest is the community’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration.
Activities take place 6-9 p.m. Fireworks are at 9 p.m.
The Town is encouraging residents to carpool and to park off site and walk. There is limited parking available at Heritage Park. Please dress for the weather! Keep in mind horse-drawn wagon rides are subject to cancellation in the event of extreme cold.
Activities Include:

- Family Dinner
- Sparkling Apple Cider
- Popcorn
- Photo booth
- Outdoor Skating
- Horse Drawn Wagon Rides (Ends at 8:30)

Kick off the holiday season at the annual Christmas Light Up! Watch downtown Stony Plain come alive with the lighting of Main Street and the Christmas Tree. As carolers sing traditional holiday songs and Santa Claus visits with children, guests, can stay warm by sipping hot chocolate and snacking on burgers or hot dogs prepared by the Stony Plain Kinsmen Club. Participants are encouraged to bring a toy or non-perishable food item for the Kinsmen Club’s Christmas Hamper program.
Mini Monster Bash

Celebrate Halloween at the Mini Monster Bash! Crafts and activities are typically designed for children eight years of age and under. Children are encouraged to dress their mini-monster best. Dress for the weather in case there are lineups outside the pavilion.
Free Swim Trials in Stony Plain!
Wednesday, April 11th, 2018The Sharks swim club in Stony Plain is offering 1 free trial week for kids who are interesting in swimming! On Thursday April 12th from 5:30-8:30, there will be a registration event for the season at PERC Building (5413-51 Street). They are also offering a “suit swap” for those with old team swim suits in good condition for a new suit! Hoping to see many faces there.
Tri Area Warriors Volleyball Club Registration
Monday, April 9th, 2018Beach Volleyball Season is almost here! The Tri Area Warriors Team will be accepting registration for teams starting this Friday, April 13th for their June & July season. For our athletes in the Stony Plain, Spruce Grove & Parkland County areas, there will be chances to register individually for $45/person or as a team of 2 for $90!
