Kick off the holiday season at the annual Christmas Light Up! Watch downtown Stony Plain come alive with the lighting of Main Street and the Christmas Tree.  As carolers sing traditional holiday songs and Santa Claus visits with children, guests, can stay warm by sipping hot chocolate and snacking on burgers or hot dogs prepared by the Stony Plain Kinsmen Club.  Participants are encouraged to bring a toy or non-perishable food item for the Kinsmen Club’s Christmas Hamper program.

This weekend from April 13-15th, Stony Plain & the District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business & Home Expo at the Tri-Leisure Center in Spruce Grove. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask questions to our Council members, gather information regarding upcoming projects in the area, and gain more contacts for your business ventures! Family Day Winter Festival Event

Monday February 19 from 10am-4pm, Spruce Grove’s Winter Fest will be held at Columbus Park, on McLeod Avenue. This even is jam packed with prizes to be won and activities like horse & wagon rides, an ugly toque contest, a full street hockey tournament, curling and more! Stony Plain’s Mini Monster Bash

Calling all Monsters!!!

A joint-initiative between the Town, the City of Spruce Grove and Parkland County, Mini-monster Bash is a day of spooktacular Halloween activities designed especially for mini-monsters and their families. Children are invited to dress in their mini-monster bests. Activities are typically designed for children under eight and include children’s entertainers, crafts, airbrush tattoos, games, bouncy houses, cookie decorating, goody bags and, of course…Candy!

When: October 28/17 from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Where: Heritage Park Pavilion – 5100 – 41 Avenue, Stony Plain
