Snow Removal – Stony Plain

After every snow fall, our Public Works Department will review and look into clearing snow from Priorities 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Residential snow removal is done at 15 cm of packed snow. At 10 cm of packed snow, the Operations Manager will conduct a review and has the option of doing removals earlier.

Back lane pickup is performed upon completion of the residential rotation or as soon as equipment becomes available

Sidewalks

Residents are responsible to maintain any sidewalk adjacent to the land they own or occupy clear of all snow and ice within 48 hours of the cessation of snow fall.
