Stony Plain’s Chamber of Commerce is now hiring for its summer positions! They are offering 3 full time positions to young students in high school or post secondary students. Stony Plain will be hosting an Art Walk for local talent on Canada Day at Heritage Park! They are currently taking applications, open to musicians, spoken word poets, artists and performance artists. Each participant can receive a 10X10 space for a $40 price for the day. Come for a chance to show your talents as social media, print and radio advertisements will be at the event! Monday February 19 from 10am-4pm, Spruce Grove’s Winter Fest will be held at Columbus Park, on McLeod Avenue. This even is jam packed with prizes to be won and activities like horse & wagon rides, an ugly toque contest, a full street hockey tournament, curling and more! Calling all Monsters!!!

A joint-initiative between the Town, the City of Spruce Grove and Parkland County, Mini-monster Bash is a day of spooktacular Halloween activities designed especially for mini-monsters and their families. Children are invited to dress in their mini-monster bests. Activities are typically designed for children under eight and include children’s entertainers, crafts, airbrush tattoos, games, bouncy houses, cookie decorating, goody bags and, of course…Candy!

When: October 28/17 from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Street Hockey Tournament
Cheer on your favorite team and meet your Saints! They are reffing and time keeping this super fun event. Entertainment Stage
Baton Twirling, Cheer, Dancing, Singing, Ukrainian Dancing, Tae Kwon Do, music and a dance competition! This gets everyone moving, but it’s truly amazing to see our local talent on the stage. Our local groups are very impressive indeed. FREE WITH ADMISSION

Waffle Challenge
Save on Foods sponsors the waffles for this fun challenge. Come on out and taste some amazing creations with a waffle! Famoso Spruce Grove took home the GOLDEN WAFFLE in 2016 with their waffle, but the stakes were high as they competed with Cheesecake Cafe’s Monte Cristco Waffle, Phat Tony’s Asian Chicken Waffle and Jack’s Drive In’s Ice Cream Waffle! Who will win this year? Join us!

Tyrone, Pablo, and Uniqua will be taking the audience on an adventure February 20, 2017 at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Center in Spruce Grove.
From mountain climbs to a Luau, these friendly dancing animals will have the crowd up and out of their seats.
Hard copy tickets are available to pick up with photo ID during TLC operating hours.
Tickets are general admission with seating available. Children’s snacks will also be available for purchase at the show.
Backyardigans merchandise will also be available to purchase on the day while quantities last!
